Meeting the Easter Bunny

We went to the Mall tonight to get Conner's picture with the Easter Bunny. He sat on The Bunny's lap. He did great. They took 10 pictures. We looked at them on the computer. In 9 out of 10 0f them, Conner was looking the other way or at the Bunny. The cheapest package was $23. Are you Kidding me????? A 5x 7 and 3 wallets???? The one picture he was looking at the camera in was not good at all. The whole time he was on the Bunny's lap, the photographer was getting upset with the Bunny. Saying "Are you holding onto him?" "Do you have him?" "Don't drop him" I was feeling a little uncomfortable. Had Bunny dropped someone else today? Had Bunny been sipping on some EGGnog? This is one memory of Conner's that will not be photographed. If you dare take out your own Camera they will call Bart the mall cop. (He was walking around the Bunny Hole.)
The next stop, Thomas the Train motorized ride. Screamed!!!!!!!!!

Next Stop! The Carousel!!!
Screamed when you put him on a Horse!!!!!!!

Those are cool Lights!!!!!!!

Next Stop. T.G.I.Fridays. He was as happy as a clam. The boy loves to eat.
You put him on a drunk furry bunny, a moving Thomas the Train, or a bunch of Horses going in circles and he gets P@#$%^! You give him some sweet potato fries and he is in HEAVEN!

Spring Break With Kelsey and Maddie

Kelsey and Maddie were on Spring Break this week and Conner and I were off on Friday. So, they came over Thursday night to stay with us. The girls and I had a slumber party in the camper Thursday night. I slumbered, They Partied. There was a lot of laughter coming from the camper. Friday, I did some work around the house while the girls played and cared for Conner. He loves those two girls. He gets wound up tight when they are around. We all had so much fun together. Thanks girls for spending a couple of days with us. Conner found someone to pull him in his wagon. He loves to go for rides and the girls spent a lot of time taking him on rides Friday. He was in Heaven.

First Kiss

Conner has a really good friend at daycare. Her name is Isabelle. They play together, hold hands, and share toys. He seems to like her better than all the others in his class. Well, yesterday, Miss Isabelle turned one. I guess Conner knew what was going on, because the teacher looked over and caught Conner laying a big one on Isabelle's lips. The smacking noises and all. Now, Isabelle must have been in good birthday spirits because she didn't smack him on the head. I have seen her smack him before when he took a toy from her. Oh, young love.

Overnight with Grandma and Granddaddy

Conner spent the night with his Granddaddy and Grandma Payne Saturday night. They played and played. Steve and I went on a date to see Valentine's Day which was cute and funny. We went to mass with Mom, dad, and Conner on Sunday morning at St. Bernard's. Then off to Grandmother's house to see her and eat her famous breakfast. Conner was our entertainment. Seems like his G-momma and G-daddy taught him a few tricks on Saturday night. They taught him to dunk his pacifier in your drink and then stick it back in his mouth. Not once, but several times. He also fake coughs now and covers his mouth. It is all too cute. He was dancing with his great-grandmother. He had a blast visiting with his 3 grandparents. Thanks mom and dad and grandmother.

First Steps

Conner took his first three steps at home last night, March 11th. This was just a few days after his 10 month birthday. I was at work still and missed them, but luckily Steve was there to see them. I am glad they didn't happen at daycare where we both would have missed them. I am trying today to get him to do it again. He will walk for a while holding onto just one of my fingers. He is ready to take off, he just needs a little more confidence. He already stays black and blue from pulling up and cruising. I can only imagine what the next couple of weeks will bring. Way to go Conner!

10 Months Old

Conner turned 10 months old on Monday, March 8th. He has changed so much over the last month. He has grown and became more of a little man. He has his own personality and characteristics. He is very well natured, happy, curious, adventurous, and determined. He takes every day and makes the most out of it. He wakes up with a smile and goes to bed with a smile each and every day. That is contagious. He plays hard, laughs often, and learns as he goes. He makes every day worth waking up too. We love you Conner.

Oscar the Grouch? No!!! Conner being silly.

He plays peek a boo with a towel or blanket.

Where's Conner??????

Overnight with Grandma and Grandpa Elfreich

Conner had his first sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Elfreich's house Saturday night. They went to Uncle Mark's 60th Birthday party. Conner was loved on by all of the women and didn't want for attention. He did a great job and was a very good boy for Grandma and Grandpa. He must of had a great time because he has chattered all day long. It is like he is trying to tell us about his evening. He gets excited and uses his hands and then lets out a squeal. He is jabbering non-stop. I am not sure what those women did to him. Oh well. Thanks for the sleepover. He had a blast.

Spring is Here!!!

Is this spring or is God teasing us? Who cares. We like what we see. This weekend was in the mid 50 degree range and we enjoyed getting out and stroller riding, swinging, sliding, and wagon riding. We are looking forward to more warm weather. Bring in on, God.
