Christmas Day

Conner woke up at 1:30 a.m. to find out that Santa had just delivered and thought he was done for the night. I was sleeping in Conner's bed with him to make sure he stayed in bed. He came running in to his bedroom saying "Santa came!"
He runs away.
He comes back "He left me lots of presents!"
He runs away.
Back again to report to sleeping mom.
"He left me # of presents, I counted."
"Get up mom, let's open them."
Me- "Conner, it is the middle of the night. We are not opening gifts til morning. Get in bed and go to sleep."
The kid was wide awake with excitement and couldn't go to sleep which meant I couldn't go to sleep!
He finally said "I am going to sleep in the living room."
The kid stayed up all night doing God knows what and I found him asleep on the couch at 6:30.
When he got up at 8:00, he told me that Santa had left him some games for a Wii U.
I said "How do you know that?"
He said "I looked at a few things."
He had already gone through his stocking and Steves.

His big items were a new TV for the toy room, a WII U, a new gaming chair, WII games, and a fitbit.

Christmas at St. Philips

This year for Christmas, the PTO made some changes and bought the whole school pizza for lunch. Normally we just give it to 6th, 7th, and 8th. This year, the whole school ate together in the gym with Santa before they each had their individual class parties! It was a hit!!!!  Santa cancelled at the last minute due to illness and Mom had to scramble to find someone else to play Santa. Mr. Dan filled in for the PS and PK while the fill in finished at The Culver Center. He showed up just in time for lunch and Mom was happy to see that he was the REAL ONE!
