I took Conner to the After Hours Pediatrician Clinic this morning for Bronchitis. Steve stayed at home. When we got home, Steve said, "Well Conner,..... what did the Doctor say?" Conner quickly replied .............."HO HO HO." Too Funny!!!!!!!

A Fun Filled Day
Conner and I had a busy day Saturday while Steve roofed his parents house. We started out feeding the ducks at the State Hospital because it is one of Conner's favorite things to do. We must have been the first ones there Saturday because the ducks were really hungry and we only had one loaf of bread.
Then, we went to CMOE (Children's Museum of Evansville) to meet Steph, Abby, and Sophie. We had a lot of fun playing together. We went to "Story Stretcher" at the museum for toddlers. They have story time and then they make a craft. The craft was feather turkeys. Then we spent a couple of hours exploring the museum. Fun Fun. Then the girls came over to play while Stephanie did some shopping. We hope they come back real soon to play again. Conner was a little sad to see them go.

| Abby wanted to get down with Sophie and Conner really bad. |
| We made several attempts at "Group Pictures" all unsuccessful. |

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
On Monday Night, Conner and I put up his Charlie Brown Christmas Tree in his room. Conner handed me the baby red bulbs one by one until we were out. He was very patient and very involved in decorating his tree. We are very ahead of schedule. Steve is having knee surgery on the 24th, so we have to get all of our decorations up before that day. He will not be able to climb stairs or ladders for awhile. Most of the outside is decorated and 90% of our Christmas shopping is done. What a great feeling. Maybe this Christmas will be a little less stressful and more seasonable.
It is a little crooked but that adds the character.

18 Month Check-up
Conner and I went to see Dr. Voyles today for his 18 Month Well Baby Check-up. Conner is 33 inches tall (75%) and 32.5 lbs (95%). He is doing very well. He is advancing well physically and developmentally. Dr. Voyles was very impressed with his large vocabulary. Conner even told the nurse "Thank You" through sobs and tears for giving him his shots today. She said that was a first for her. He is very polite. I tried to tell him that she was doing something good for him even though it hurts and he thought he should "Thank Her." He got his flu shot today, so he is ready for the winter.
Next Visit- 2 years and no shots.

Here Fishy Fishy
I have had out of town funeral stuff the last 2 days, so Steve and Conner have kind of been on their own. When I got home tonight, they were shortly behind me with a surprise. When I went to get Conner out of the truck, he showed me a bag of 2 fish. Yeah!!!! You can guess how surprised I was. No, we had actually talked about it awhile ago because he has a fish in his classroom and then a big fish tank in the lobby at daycare. He likes the ones at school, so we discussed getting him one. I just wasn't aware we were getting fish today or let alone 2!! Anyways, they live in Conner's room on his dresser. We have named them Chris and Keith. 2 of our neighbors are named Chris and Keith and they are Conner's buddies. I have a really bad feeling that Chris is PREGNANT. Only time will tell. I don't know the gestation period for a gold fish but I will keep you posted.
So, after posting this the first time, I went in search of information about goldfish gestation. I found this site http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/44359-goldfish-gestation-period/ and found it too humerous not to share. Some people are very attatched to their goldfish and even want to HELP them lay their eggs. Can you say CRAZY???

Parent Teacher Confernce
Yesterday was my first official "Parent Teacher Conference" with Conner's head teacher, Miss Diana. Conner got great compliments. He is definitely on the right track. He plays well with others, listens, follows directions, is very calm, is well behaved, shares, and helps out. He loves art time including painting, crayons, and water colors.
She said he is the model student. She wishes they were all that good. Way to go Conner. I had NO DOUBT you were a good boy.

18 Months Old
Hard to Believe, I know, But Conner is a year and a half old. Conner is such a joy to be around. He keeps Steve and I Laughing, Guessing, Smiling, Wondering, and Amazed.
*****What Conner is up to at 18 Months Old*****
- Conner wears size 2T clothes, size 6 diapers, and size 7 shoes.
- He has blond hair and brown eyes. A haircut may be in the near future.
- His Favorite foods are bananas, sausage, cheese, yogurt, and pudding.
- He has become quite a climber. He also plots his climbs out and will go to the bathroom to get his step stool if he knows it will come in handy with a climb.
- He loves to camp.
- He loves to be outside even when it is cold and he has to wear 5 layers of clothes.
- He loves to play with keys and tries to unlock everything.
- He is fascinated with bottles. Ketchup, butter, lotion, shampoo. He wants to do all the squeezing himself.
- He loves to spend time packing and unpacking. He will unpack a lunchbox, a drawer, a cabinet, a box, a bag, anything full of something. Then he will put it all back in and start over. He has organizing in his blood.
- He still loves dogs.
- He loves to color with crayons.
- He plays with blankets and pillows. He will shake out the blanket and make a pallet on the floor then add a pillow. Then he will start all over and make a new pallet. It has to be perfect. If you lay down on the floor, he will get a blanket and cover you up, then bring you a pillow and put it under your head. He is a nurturer.
- He is such a big helper. He helps sweep, wash windows, dust, and water the flowers. He will also go put his jacket away in his room when we get home. He also helps pick up all his toys before bed. A lot of times, we don't even have to ask.
- He still shows no interest in TV or movies much to my approval. The only time he will watch the TV is in the truck on a trip. This just started recently and has made traveling a little quieter.
- He is very well behaved, a good listener, and understands the word NO. I am very proud of him. He is a very good boy and I wouldn't change a thing about his behavior if I could.
- He is very polite. He continuously uses the words "please" and "thank you." in the appropriate manner. He doesn't have to be reminded very often.
- When you ask Conner "How are You?' He answers "Good."
- His vocabulary grows every day. A few words I hear all the time are- please, thank you, more, dog, bird, shoe, socks, cracker, cookie, hi, bye, bye-bye, good, off, side (outside), bah(pacifier), mok (milk), mom, dad, ball, baby, teeth, eyes, bubbles, see, tractor, truck, back, hot, bubbles, yes, go, hat, why, and keys.

Happy Halloween
We took Conner trick or treating Sunday down our street. He wasn't sure about it at first. He just wanted to pull his wagon around. Then he went up to his first house, and wanted to stay and visit with the kid handing out candy. Then the next house had a dog inside the door, so he wanted in their house. Then he was getting the hang of what was going on. Toward the end of our street, a man opened the door and stooped down to let Conner pick a piece of candy. Conner pushed right by the man and walked into his house to investigate things. He was getting a little too comfortable. He got a very special treat from Allen and Nancy. He got a hand painted piggy bank. He got a special treat from Chris and Vicki too. He got a pumpkin pie and a tub of cool-whip. They know he loves cool-whip. He insisted we open the cool-whip right away and start eating it before we left their house. Our little duck's feathers were covered in cool-whip. He had a lot of fun.
