Terre Haute Children's Museum

Wednesday, Stephanie, Sophie, My friend Abby, and her daughter Hadley, Conner, and I went to the Terre Haute Children's Museum. It was AWESOME. They had so much cool stuff. We will definitly be making a trip or two back. It was well worth the drive.

Hadley and Conner digging for Dinosaurs.

The Vet Surgery Instrument.
They had a Vet set-up. You played the Vet. There were animals, surgery instruments and OR table, x-rays, reception booth, and the pens for the animals. This was really cool.

Animal x-rays

Dr. Wollenmann reviewing a chart.

Dr. Elfreich checking on a doggie after his surgery.

Dr. Elfreich calling a dogs owner. (Look at the backward receiver)
"Yeah, come get Rosco. He is pooping all over the place."

Adding info to his computer

"Your Cat did not make it, You shouldn't let him eat the kid's toys."

Check out the Vet in the background setting ALL of the patients FREE!!!

His favorite part of the whole day, Driving a tractor.

You could milk this cow. Real water came out. Pretty cool.

Slumber Party at the McDonalds

Saturday night, Conner and Sophie spent the night at Andrea and Byrons house. This is the first time this has been attempted.  Everyone survived. There was no major problems. They did a great job. Thanks for making memories with Sophie and Conner. Are you ready to keep them again??????

This was right before I left Saturday afternoon. The adults look rested, fresh, and smiling.
This is when I picked Conner up Sunday. Maybe not so rested, not so fresh, and not as big of smiles.

Everyone survived and had a good time.

Warm Weather

Today's temperature came close to 60 degrees. We were all itching to get out of the house and get some exercise and fresh air. Conner was the most excited.  When I told him this morning that we were going to play outside today, he smiled so BIG. Then I told him he had to take a nap before we could go out. He was willing and ready for a nap an hour early. We took a long walk over to the State Hospital to visit and feed the ducks. Then, we went to the playground to explore. Then, back home to ride Conner's four wheeler and visit with our neighbors who ventured out of hibernation. We had a great day. We can't wait for the next warm weekend.

Valentine's Day Party

Saturday, Me, Mom, Steph, Andrea, Conner, Sophie, and Abby had a Valentine's Day Party at my parents while the men went to Allen Wood's Annual Man Party. We had a Mexican/taco bar for lunch, Cookies, Cupcakes, and Candy. We exchanged valentines and gifts. We made a special visit to Grandmother for her Birthday. Then, it was nap time. After nap, the boys came home and we decorated the Valentine tree and ordered Pizza. Conner also got a hair-cut. We had a full day of fun.

Conner's 2nd Hair-cut

Conner got his 2nd Hair-cut Saturday. He was very good again. He even had a very annoying audience and was still good. It was hard to not look at the YaHoo's hanging around, but he did GREAT. Thanks Grandma!

Every time Grandma would cut, Grandad would blow the loose hair away. Very Funny Grandad!
