Easter with The Elfreichs

Steve and I went out of town Saturday night, but Conner celebrated Easter with the Elfreichs. Shirley and Andy made the food. I hear the boys played hard. They each got Easter baskets full of candy, a movie, a kite, and puzzles.

Easter with the Payne's

Sunday afternoon, we celebrated Easter with my family. Mom made all of the food, we had and Easter egg hunt, and Easter baskets. Conner got clothes, money, books, candy, and toys. He racked up the goodies.

I am not sure how this happened. One got naked and the other wanted to get naked. A Half naked Easter egg hunt!

Easter 2011

When we got home Easter Sunday, we found that the Easter Bunny had hid eggs in our front yard and left an Easter Basket for Conner. He was so excited to see all of his goodies. We went outside to hunt eggs in our Rain Boots. Conner picked up a few and then he found a large puddle that looked like more fun. Needless to say, Steve and I did more hunting of eggs than Conner.

Magic Jelly Beans

Saturday, Conner and I found a small break in the rain to plant some Magic Jelly Beans we found. We had enough Jelly Beans for 5 pots full.  When we got home on Sunday, our Magic Jelly Beans Had turned into Orange and Yellow Flowers!

Day at Grandma and Grandad's

Steve worked Sunday, so Conner and I went to Rockport to visit with Family. We went to Grandma and Granddad's house and went to Lowe's with them. Then we went to Conner's Great Grandmother's House and visited with her and Sister. Grandmother gave Conner his Birthday Present early. He got a dodge pick-up truck and horse trailer with a horse. It has lights and noises. He hasn't put it down since he got it. He took it to bed with him and played with it as soon as he got up. He even took it in the car with us to school. He really likes it. Then, back to Grandma and Granddad's to meet Sophie and Abby who were going to hang out with us. Granddad got out the Barrel Trains and then the Ford Tractor. Then, we all went for a walk to the woods and creek. Then, they played on the rock piles.  We ended the night with a hair-cut for Conner. Conner was exhausted when we got home. We had just enough time for a bath and then off to bed.

Easter Eggs and Cookies

Tonight, Kelsey, Maddie, Conner, and I dyed Easter Eggs, Decorated Cookies, and Made Spaghetti. I think we all had a blast playing Martha Stuart and being creative. Conner just loves the girls. Anything they do, he has to be right there with them. He is in Heaven when they are here. He always mopes on Sundays after they leave.

The girls were hiding eggs in the house for Conner to hunt. It was raining and cold today.
He is practicing for next Sunday!

The Girls would decorate the cookie and Conner would have all the icing licked off before they could get done decorating another one.

Conner's Busy Day

Conner has been a busy bee this morning. He started out by painting his very own flower pots. Conner and I planted a lot of seeds recently and we are watching all of them grow slowly. He needed his very own flower pots in case we find something else to plant. He painted them so pretty.

Then, we made sugar Easter cookies. Conner did most of the work. We are waiting on Kelsey and Maddie to help us decorate them and dye Easter eggs tonight.

We went to an Easter Egg hunt and to see the Easter Bunny for the first time this year. He didn't want to sit on the Bunny's lap or talk to him. We took a picture of another kid with the Bunny. All the way home Conner said "Bunny- No Like."  Then he also reminded me that "Conner No Like Ho Ho."  He still isn't over Santa Claus. Then we entered the Easter Egg Hunt. Conner got several eggs in his bucket then looked at me and said "Done, Home."  So he headed toward the car. Might I add it was maybe 50 degrees, raining, and very windy. I was happy with his decision. So, off we went.
