Fun Day on the Last Day of School

First Grade ended with the highly anticipated best day of the year!!! Fun Day!!!!

There was pizza, soft drinks, chips, candy bars, games, and prizes!!! It is always such a great way to head into summer! These kids have learned so much this first grade year. Mrs. Naas made them walk a straight line while learning to be more independent. They've learned so many sight words, how to read, many many math facts, and lots of grammar and spelling!

They are walking away smarter and ready to meet Mrs. Boehman in the fall!

Humane Society Donation

Since Conner is getting a dog soon, he chose the Vanderburgh Humane Society as his charity this year. His guests brought donations for the VHS and we delivered it today. He made almost $100. and got toys, food, snacks, shampoo, and blankets to donate.

Wears sz 8 clothes, and size 2 shoes.

Goes to bed at 7:30 p.m. on school nights

Gets up at 6 a.m.

Loves papa johns pizza, corn on the cob, bagels, ice cream, oreo blizzards, all meat, yogurt, and apple juice.

Loves to play with his 4-wheeler, treehouse, sandbox, swing set, trampoline, dig in the dirt, trim trees, build stuff, work in the barn, and follow his dad around.

His best friends are Luke and Henry

Loves math and art.

Wants to be a contractor.

An Interview with a 7 year old!!!!

What is your favorite color???  "You know that, it's orange!"

What is your favorite food?  "The ribs from Michigan on the beach.

Also, corn, and corn on the cob but I can't eat that right now cause I don't have any teeth."

What do you want to be when you grow up?  "A contractor"

Who are your best friends? "Henry and Luke."

What is your favorite thing about school?  "Car line."

Well, what is your favorite subjects?  "Math and Art Class."

What are your favorite things to do after school?  "Play with my monster truck, tools, my cat Cubby, my 4-wheeler, mommy, daddy, and the chickens."

What are you looking forward to doing this summer? "Going to the lake."

Would you ever want to be the president of the USA? "No, I hate that job!"

Who is your girlfriend?  "Natalie Weber."

What do you like about Natalie Weber?  "She is cute and funny and a goofball!"

Who is your favorite teacher this year?  "Ms. Tindle."

What is your favorite part of St. Philip's school?  "Learning about God."

What are your plans for the summer? "Going to New York, Niagra Falls, Canada, my 1st nascar race, camping, getting a puppy named Marley, farm camp, and art camp!"
