Thanksgiving

Saturday, we celebrated Thanksgiving with mom and dad. We ate dinner, worked on a Payne Family Time Capsule to be opened on Sophie's High School graduation. Harper announced that she was going to be a sister.  Then, we all loaded up and headed to French Lick for the Polar Express.

Serving Dinner

The three of us volunteered to serve dinner for the Restore Outreach Ministries Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a special experience for all of us and it introduced Conner to another life. He realized how lucky he is. Even if it only lasted for a night. He realized that everyone isn't as fortunate as us and are down on their luck.

 

Chippy Return

Chippy Returned!!!!! He arrived Tuesday morning and made us breakfast. He also brought an Elf on the Shelf floor puzzle for Conner. Let the fun Begin!

Red Ribbon Week Fun

Halloween

On Halloween night, it was 40 degrees and extremely windy. Conner chose to skip trunk or treat. We went to our old street and saw Keith and the the Carls. He has been batman, a power ranger, and at the last minute, he chose to be the astronaut from last year. After our two stops, we had dinner plans with Chris and Vicki. We went to Zucki, the Hibachi grill, which was more exciting. Conner loved Zucki. Afterwards, I said, "I Know you don't like this kind of food, I will take you to McDonalds and get you some nuggets when we leave."

Conner said "But McDonald's is boring, they don't have entertainment like Zucki!"
