Fun Filled New Years Eve Day

Conner and I had a New Years Eve Day Date. We did a lot of fun things together. We started the day by making sugar cookies with sprinkles of course. Then, we took some bread to the State Hospital to feed our friends, the ducks. All while Steve was Duck Hunting. Isn't this Ironic?? Conner and I didn't have to hunt, they just came right up to us when we got out of the car. Steve isn't doing something right. Then, we went to the Children's Museum with our new membership. While we were there, Stephanie called and said she saw my car. They were on a play date with her friend Lori and her children Stella and Stratton. So, to make our day even better, we got to play with 3 of our favorite people, Aunt Stephanie, Sophia, and Abigail and make 3 new friends. Wow, what a great day we had. It was lots of fun. Happy New Year to ALL!!!

Payne Christmas

Christmas Afternoon, we celebrated Christmas with my family. We had a lot of good food and drinks. The adults helped a needy family this year. It was such an awesome thing for someone awesome to us. So, the kids got all the gifts, which is wonderful in my eyes.  The adults played Dirty Santa, but no one played dirty. I got a pretty "Family" picture frame and Steve got his own gift, a car care kit. Steve, Conner, and I spent the night, which made it even more fun.

Horse rides all Night

Horse rides on wooden horses and human horses.

The human horse was better. He moved.

Andrea and Byron got Conner and Sophia Hot Wheels. Conner got Diego and Sophie got Dora.

Christmas with Great Grandmother

Christmas Afternoon, we spent some time with Conner's Great Grandmother Payne. She had Christmas Eve at her house and we missed it, so we went to see her as soon as we got to Rockport. She of course had goodies for the kids. Sophie got a doll buggy, Conner got some Mega Blocks, and Abby got a giant Caterpillar. She was very happy to see everyone. She also gave Conner and Abby a special ornament from her Christmas tree to have something of hers. Sophie had already got one.  We will treasure it ALWAYS. It will hold a special place on our Christmas tree from now on.

Conner was giving Grandmother LOVE.

And Hugs!!!

Does this Picture say "CHAOS?"

More LOVE!!!

Christmas Morning

Conner must have done everything right. The Reindeer food, letters to Santa, and leaving cookies under the tree worked well because Santa delivered. He got everything he asked for and more. His big things were a play kitchen with all the accessories and a four-wheeler. Grandma and Papaw Elfreich came over that morning to watch Conner open gifts and have lunch. My parents couldn't make it this year because they were Eucharistic ministers that morning in Rockport.
Conner really liked the kitchen. He is always helping me in my kitchen, his very own was just the right thing for Santa to bring him. He spent a lot of time playing with the kitchen Christmas morning, not caring there were other gifts to open. It truly was a lot of fun this year watching his face when he walked into the living room. 19 months old at Christmas was a fun age.The look was priceless. I loved it.

"Woah!!! Where did that come From?"

"What in the world??" As he circled the room.

Grandma and Papaw showed up in matching P.J.s and wore their house shoes. How CUTE!!

The kitchen was a hit!!!

Christmas with the Elfreichs

We spent Christmas Eve with our Immediate Elfreich family. We had lots of great food. The boys were anxious to start opening gifts and it was hard to hold them off. Everyone was very spoiled as usual. We got a season family pass to CMOE, the children's museum. This is an awesome gift. I am very excited about it and know we will get a lot of use out of it. Conner and I love to hang out there and can't wait to take Daddy.  The best part of the whole night, It Snowed a lot. Yeah. A white Christmas. The first time since 2004! We had a wonderful evening.
