We spent Halloween weekend camping at Lincoln State Park. The weather was cool and clear. Very Fall like. We rode tricycles, played in our tent and on the playground, visited with family and friends, went to a party, watched the St. Louis Cardinals win the World Series, went to Santa's Candy Castle, and went Trick or Treating. It was a full weekend. Conner had been wanting to go camping for months.

| Our first trip to Santa's Candy Castle. We loved it here. It was more than I expected. Conner loved it too and he got to talk to Santa on the computer. He told Santa that he wanted him to bring him some tractors for Christmas. Steve had a frozen hot chocolate that was out of this world, and Conner got to pick out some candy from their fresh candy display. He picked out chocolate Santas. We also picked up a bunch of Christmas books. There was a huge book selection and they were CHEAP. One of my favorite words. |
