Daycare Christmas Festival

Tonight was the Daycare Christmas Festival. There is a craft in every single room, refreshments, Christmas Caroling, and Santa.
Conner wanted to talk to Santa, but from a distance. There was no one in line behind us, so he talked to Santa for several minutes. He told Santa that he wanted a tractor, some tools, and chocolate Santas. He also told him that he has been good. He did not want to shake hands of give knuckles. He did tell him BYE when we left too.

Happy St. Nick's Day

Tuesday Morning, Conner woke to surprises in his stocking from St. Nick.
He got Mickey Mouse Club House cups and pajamas, make your own snow in a can, and chocolate Santa Claus candies.
He wanted to know "Did that Nick man come in my house while I was sleeping?"
Later that day---- "Tell Nick I need some more chocolate Ho Ho's"

Rockport Christmas Parade

Saturday was the Rockport Christmas Parade. Steve drove one of dad's antique tractors and Conner rode with my mom on the "German American" float that my dad pulled with an antique tractor. Conner loved waving to people and throwing candy!

It's Begining to look a lot like Christmas to a 2 year old!

The past couple of weeks have been full of "Firsts" for Conner, since he doesn't remember his last Christmas! Christmas Decorations in people's yards, Christmas songs on the radio, movies on t.v., Santa everywhere you look, and stores overflowing with red, white, and green goodies. Believe me, he doesn't miss a thing.
There have been lots of changes around our house too. He helped decorate the Christmas tree in his room and our living room. We have been working on a letter to Santa, we went on the Polar Express to the North Pole, the Elf on the Shelf was introduced, and the threats of "Santa is watching you" started weeks ago. All this excitement and build up and Christmas is still 23 days away!

"I really want to touch him!" "Please mom!"

Making Reindeer Food

"Enough for all my cousins."

Lots of sprinkles so Santa can see it from the sky!

Making Christmas magnets

You never know what that elf will be up to when you wake up each day!

Conner's morning medicines

I would ask a question and Conner filled in the blanks.
This letter will get revised a little!
Some things he wants for Christmas,,,,, a drink, a Christmas tree, and a starburst.
And Santa and the Reindeer will be getting Starburst.
What a character!
