Santa One More Time

Conner told me Saturday on the way to Rockport that he forgot to tell Santa something when he talked to him at daycare. Ought Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He forgot to tell him that he wanted a tool bench/ work bench to go with his tools he had asked for.
Off to the mall we go Sunday night.
Conner said he wasn't going to sit on his lap or shake his hand or give him knuckles.
He just wanted to talk to him. So, that meant we all had to sit with Santa and Conner hid behind me. So, once I started telling Santa about the tool bench, Conner chimed in that he needed some tools for the tool bench and some tractors. Santa said "What color tractors? Blue or Red?"  Conner said "No, an orange one."  (That is his favorite tractor at Grandads - orange.)  Then he was done and off we went.
He insisted on wearing his Santa Hat because that is what Santa wears.
I am honestly surprised it went this well!!!!

More Christmas Fun

Big Boy Bed

Big Boy Bed
Conner was switched to a big boy bed a couple of months ago on his 2 1/2 yr Birthday.
I forgot to post about it. He does really well. He knows he is not allowed to get out of the bed once he is put in it. If he gets out, he gets the baby gate put up. He is really good about staying put though. A few times, we have heard a big boom and found Conner on the floor after he has fallen out in his sleep.

Daycare Christmas Party

Friday was the Daycare Pajama Christmas Party. The kids wear their pajamas all day and bring junk food and their gifts to the classroom and teachers. Conner took Doughnut Bank Doughnut holes as he always does. He bought the class a tool bench/work bench and bought his 4 teachers Kohl's gift cards.

Conner thinks he can fly since Aunt Jamie and Uncle Ben gave him some Superman Pajamas.
Here he is trying to fly across the table.

Henry is a copycat.

This is the gift Conner brought but he has no idea what it is and is dying to open it.

Nashville

Friday, Steve, Conner, and I headed to Nashville for our annual Christmas trip. We went to one of our favorite restaurants there, Caney Fork, on Friday night. Following dinner, we went to a Christmas Light show that was hard to describe, but out of this world great! At the end of the light show is a Christmas Wonderland with Santa, A train to ride, bouncy houses, bungee jumping, and a lot more.
Saturday, we spent most of the day at the Opryland Hotel browsing and shopping. Then, we went to the Holly Jolly Christmas celebration at the hotel. Here, they had a train for the kids, pedal cars, popcorn, cupcakes, and story time with Mrs. Claus.
Then, later, we went to the Shrektackular performance at the Hotel. Conner was amazed by the show, only taking his eyes off the stage when "Snow" started falling from the rafters. This might have been his favorite part of the day.
Saturday night, we met our friends, Andy and Anna for dinner at Cock of the Walk.
Sunday, we made our annual trip to Bass Pro Shops where we saw Santa but didn't get close to him. We just stalked him.
