Daycare Festival

Thursday night, was the Daycare Christmas Festival where the kids and parents mingle amongst each other in all the classrooms doing a crafts, eating popcorn, and drinking spiced cider.
It is always a fun night, because the parents get to visit together other than just quickly passing in the halls during the week.

Snow Day

Friday, it iced and snowed!!! We got about 12 inches by the time it stopped Friday night. We went to work and went home shortly after. Daycare wanted to close and most of our schedule cancelled, so we had 1/2 snow day Friday.
Conner played outside while it snowed. We also watched Christmas movies, drank hot chocolate, and made a gingerbread train that St. Nick left for him.

Saturday, it was 20 degrees for a high. He played outside countless times for only 10 minute intervals before he would start to freeze! I have dressed and undressed this kid so many times and dried boots and clothes. He loves the snow.
Between playing spurts, we have been very crafty. Today alone, we made pumpkin playdough, salt dough ornaments, dough, homemade snow icecream, homemade corn chowder, and shaving cream snow. We have been busy! Conner loves to do stuff like this and what better day than a snow day!

Polar Express 2013

On Saturday, we made our 3rd trip to the North Pole to ride the Polar Express in French Lick.
The whole gang went minus my parents because my mom just had a total knee replacement.
We had fun as usual and we got to see Santa!
