Show n Tell

Conner and Steve took 2 of the baby chicks to show and tell Tuesday. They are two of the ones we hatched and they are 4 weeks old. Conner was so excited that he got to bring chickens that Steve did most of the show n tell and I stopped by and was quizzing Conner trying to get him to tell about the hatching. The kids were excited. He took show and tell up a notch.

 

Kaylynn Turns 4!

Kaylynn  turned 4 and invited us to her party at the Inflatable Fun Factory. We always have fun there. Thanks Kaylynn for including us. We had a great time.

Happy Birthday Abby!

Sunday, was Abby's 4th Birthday party at the Ferdinand YMCA. The kids go to play in the gym and activity room. We were so happy to be included in her special party. Happy 4th Birthday Abby. We love you so much!

Saturday, Conner and Harper had a small Valentine's Party at mom and dads while the guys went to a guy party. They played some fun games.

Playing Priest

The kids at daycare are also experiencing cabin fever. They haven't played on the playground for way too long. So, Henry and Conner, have come up with something new to play for the past couple of weeks. They play Mass. They take turns playing the priest and the other one is the Deacon. They wear the white lab coat if they are the priest. They use their microphones and sing "Alleluia" at the top of their lungs.

 

Sunday, at mass, real mass, I told Conner to watch what Fr. Burnes does at communion so him and Henry could do that tomorrow when you play Priest.

He said "Mom, we are not playing, it's for real!!!! We are real Priests!"

 

Kindergarten Round-up

This week was Conner's Kindergarten Round-up at St. Philip's. We took a few pictures of his classroom so he would know what to expect.

 

Winter Boredom

This winter weather has been horrible. We have all got cabin fever and are pulling at strings to find things to pass the time. Conner's school is getting a playground make over so he came up with this idea on his own. He first drew a diagram of what his popsicle stick playhouse was going to look like. Then, we followed it and came up with this. He is very creative with a great imagination.

 

Baby Chicks

Conner and Steve hatched some chickens with the incubator Steve got for Christmas.

They got 19 eggs from Zach and Jenny's. Only 12 had been fertilized. Twenty one days later, 7 hatched. The hatching occurred on the weekend we had a Haubstadt friends party and an open house. Oh well, more excitement.
