Conner is 6! WOW! He had changed so much from 5 to 6!
What he is up to.....
Conner is 60 lbs and 4 ft 1 1/2 inces tall
He wears sz 7 clothes but not for much longer, sz 1.5 shoes.
He is finishing up Kindergarten.
His teacher is Ms. Dorothy Weinzapfel at St. Philip's School.
He gets up at 6:15 on School days and goes to bed at 7 P.M. on school nights.
His favorite foods are chicken nuggets, yogurts, cheese sticks, graham crackers, any meat, biscuits, bacon, and cookie ice cream.
Foods he won't eat are eggs and potatoes.
Things he loves are school, tractors, outdoors, chickens, his cat Cubby, dirt, rocks, trimming trees, reading, planting flowers, digging, and swinging.
He is a worker. He would rather be doing work outside than playing.
He loves his 4-wheeler and loves to drive the lawn mower around the yard with the blades off.
There is rarely a day that goes by that we don't have a bug, a frog, butterfly, or Caterpillar on our kitchen counter. He catches anything he can.
Conner is a great kid. He is such a free spirit, always singing, playing, laughing, and talking. He is still shy away from home but has came out of his shell a bit within the walls of his classroom. He rarely gets upset about things. He does get mad when he doesn't get his way, but it passes quickly. He loves to be outside working side by side with mom or dad in whatever project we are working on. He often breaks away from our project and starts his own, rather it be planting something, digging a hole, or building something amazing with his tools and wood.
His imagination is out of this world!!! He loves to draw, do crafts, and build. He rarely plays with a toy. His entertainment is usually big people tools. He is mature for his age. He has a strong love of God and his Faith. He is very curious about Jesus and what he did for us and went through in his life. He wrote a note to God the other day and put it on the strings of his Birthday Helium and sent it to Heaven. It said "God, I love you!"
He loves Kindergarten and school! We have been told that although the youngest in his class, he is one of the calmest, mature, and well behaved. He has a thirst for knowledge. He loves science and math mostly, with Art and Religion being favorite specialty classes. He is proud that he is learning to read, and gets frustrated with language arts. The school secretary told us that of all the students in the whole school, the one kid that she can't wait to watch grow up is Conner. She said he is the sweetest kid of all to her.
Kindergarten has helped Conner come out of his shyness a bit. He loves it there!
I also can't wait to see how he changes over the next year! Mommy and Daddy love him so much!
