Conner's Annual Advent Program was Wednesday and all of Conner's grandparents came to watch!

Christmas Fun

Riley's Hospital

Each Christmas, we encourage Conner to save his allowance starting in November and use it to buy toys for kids in need. Usually, he choses toys for tots. This year, he decided he wanted to give gifts to kids who had to be in the hospital during Christmas. He raised $35 in allowance money and we matched him. So, he had $70 to pick out toys.  We then went to the Gateway/ Riley Pediatric unit and dropped off his purchases.

Thanksgiving

We had Payne Thanksgiving Saturday and then headed to French Lick for Polar Express.

Restore Outreach Ministries Thanksgiving

Conner, Luke, Laura, and I served Thanksgiving Dinner at the Restore Outreach Ministries Thanksgiving Dinner. The boys did great. This was Luke and Laura's first time. I think they will be back again to help. 

Overnight with Henry

Conner had Henry over a couple of weeks ago to spend the night. They had so much fun playing outside all day long.

Veterans Day Program

There was a Veterans Day Program today at St. Philips. The first grade lead the Pledge of Allegiance and sand "Grand old Flag."'

All four of Conner's grandparents came. Granddad and PaPaw are both Veterans.

Halloween

We trick or treated on Franklin Street for Halloween with Luke and his family. Afterwards, we all went to dinner at the Gerst House.  Later, Steve, Conner, and I went to the Boehleber's Halloween Party.
