Niagra Falls

Our Vacation started on Friday June 17th, 2016. We left our house at 5 a.m. and drove to Niagra Falls, Canada. We checked into the Embassy Suites Fallsview that overlooks the horseshoe falls in Canada. The room was unbelievable with an amazing view of the falls. We slept with the windows open to hear the roar of the falls at night. We ate dinner in the revolving restaurant at the Skylon Tower. From here, we watched the fireworks over the falls and ate the best steak I've had in so long.
We then went up to the top of the skylon tower outside and watched the falls.
Saturday, we ate breakfast and then went up close to the falls. We did a lot of watching. It is so beautiful there. We then rode the bus to Clifton Hills which is very touristy and the boys went to Ripley's Believe it or not. We then went back to our hotel to catch our tour!
On our tour, we went on "The Journey Behind the Falls", The hornblower boat ride, and to the Whirlpool Rapids.  After the tour, we went back to Clifton Hills and rode the Ferris Wheel, played paintball, and ate at the Rainforest CafĂ©. On Sunday, we went to the Dare Devil Museum and the Imax Theater. Then, it was time to leave Canada and head to NYC!!!!!

Farm Camp

Conner attended Farm Camp this summer at Blue Herron Riding Academy. He learned a lot about horses, including how to ride. They also were responsible for the same horse all week. He was in charge of grooming and feeding Kissy. They also did all the farm chores each day. They learned about eggs, chickens, goats, pigs, ducks, and horses. They each got a goat assigned to them for the week and each day they had to train it to complete the obstacle course. Conner's goat, Juliette, actually won the competition on the last day of camp. He had such a wonderful experience. He can't wait to do it again next year.

Memorial Day at Rough River

We spent Memorial Day at MeMaw's and Grandads at the lake.
Weather was perfect, water was a little cold.
We still had fun.
