After the First Day

When I picked Conner up the first day of Kindergarten, he said "that magic dust really worked!, I loved school!"

He said that the first day was awesome!!!!!

 

1st Day of School

Today, was Conner's 1st day of Kindergarten at St. Philip's. He woke up so excited. He could not wait to leave and kept rushing us along. He got out of the truck and was ready to get inside. He did great. This made is easier on mom and dad too. We met the other kids and Ms. Weinzapfel in the gym. We walked him to his class room when the bell rang and then we left. No tears!

 

Twas the Night Before Kindergarten

When Conner went to get in bed, the night before Kindergarten, he found a package on his bed.

It was a new lunch box and sandwich box for school. It was from the "night before School fairy."

She left a note, a poem, and some magic night before school fairy dust that takes away nervousness. You put it under your pillow. He was very excited to get that dust. He immediately put it under his pillow.

Cleaning off my Cell Phone

Classroom

Ms. Weinzapfel let all the kids know that she would be at school Monday getting ready for the new school year and we were all welcome to stop in and see the classroom.

We took advantage of the invitation, and went and hung out in the kindergarten room for a bit.

I remember as a kid, all the talk about something, and never knowing what they were talking about or what IT looked like there. So, I wanted to ease Conner's mind before the big day. Now, when he wakes up in the morning to "go to kindergarten," he knows what to expect and it may be a little less scary.

 

 

I took all these pictures in case I forget my camera on the first day Wednesday!!

Yeah right!!!! Like that would ever happen!!!

Sophie and Conner

Sophie is going into the first grade and Conner is starting Kindergarten on Wednesday.

Abby missed the picture because she was at her first day of Pre-school.

Conner somehow passed Sophie in height in the last 2 months. They are 17 months apart.

 

 

St. Philip Summer Social

Saturday and Sunday was our Summer Social. We worked the prize tent. We didn't take any pictures of Conner playing games but snapped this one on the way to the car.

Lake

Conner and I went to the Lake Sunday and spent the night for one last of Summer break Hoorah!

Nanny and Papa were camping 2 minutes from Memaw and Grandads so we got to spend some time with them too. Conner had all 4 Grandparents at his fingertips.

Dentist

Conner had a dentist appointment last week. He did great. No cavities!

 

Fun with Granddad

Conner spent a few days at MeMaw and Granddads house. He kept them busy with projects.

Him and Granddad worked out in the barn and came up with this wort hog plane. He is so proud of this plane he asked me if I would put this picture on Facebook so everyone can see it.

Thanks mom and dad for making memories with him that he will remember forever.

 

4-H Fair

This week was the 4-H fair. Steve and Conner made it out there several nights. Conner displayed his Allis Chalmers at the fair all week and Friday night, they entered the antique tractor parade.
