The Tooth Fairy came. Conner came running into my room at 3 am, jumped in bed with me and said "She came." He was so excited. Then, he wanted to go back to his room and look and see what she left in his pillow. He found money, a tooth exchange receipt, and a picture she took and left. Then, he started thinking, she had to have a friend with her to take that picture. He was so excited. It took him an hour and a half to fall back asleep!

Two Front Teeth
Conner is the youngest kid in his class, so this year they had all lost a tooth or two by the end of the year, except Conner. So, he was so ready to lose his tooth. Unfortunately, the other day while brushing his teeth, I noticed a new tooth had popped through behind his baby teeth. And a week later, the other bottom permanent tooth popped through the skin. So, today, they had to surgically remove his front two bottom teeth. It took him a bit to find his courage but did so well for them. He was very brave and did excellent!! The tooth Fairy took the first hit in the dentist's office. Ouch! Two teeth at once, let alone having them removed!!
On the way home, Conner was looking at his teeth that Dr. Jeff gave back to him and said, "These are so tiny, the tooth fairy will probably only leave me a dollar."
Then he said, "She should leave at least $10 for all I had to go through today!"

Work With Dad
Look at this!!! After I went to work, these two decided Conner wasn't going to Summer camp today, but instead he was going to work with dad!!!
How cute is this???!!!!
How cute is this???!!!!
No more Training Wheels
One of the things on our Summer to do list, was get off training wheels. The problem is, we don't have a lot of concrete at home to practice, so it's been a back burner issue. Conner also hasn't shown an interest until we went camping and his friend Hadley who is 2 weeks younger showed up without the extra back wheels. Oh my! It was time. So, Steve and I took him to the Lincoln Amphitheater parking lot and took them off. It took about 5 minutes of holding on to him, and he was off!!! He took off and didn't need our help anymore! He spent about an hour here mastering take offs, turns, and stopping and then was ready to go back to camp to show off! We are so proud of him! He was way past ready, we just hadn't pushed the issue and now it's history!
Camping At Lincoln
We went Camping at Lincoln State park this weekend with the Richeys and the Ellards and had a special guest visitor, Pam Maday. The weather started out bad Friday night with torrential down pours which meant the adults huddled under an easy up and the kids playing in the rain.
Saturday brought much better weather. Highs in the mid 70's and lots of sun from here on out. We made a community lunch which was awesome, rode bikes, walked, played in the sprinkler, played with water balloons, and visited with old friends. We had the best weekend. The biggest part for me was Conner learned to ride his bike without training wheels on his first attempt. Now, he is a pro. This was a big milestone for us and we all got to witness it!

Lake Sunday
I went and picked up Conner at the Lake Sunday and Michelle, Madison, and I stayed the day with them and went out on the lake. The weather was perfect.
Kindergarten Graduation Celebration
Since we left the day after school for Disney, we had to wait a couple of weeks to celebrate. We took the grandparents to Zucki for a celebration dinner!!!! Good job Conner on a great school year!
Putt Putt and Laser Tag with mom
Conner and I have a day off a week to play. The second week day off after Disney it rained all day.
So, we went to Walther's and played Putt Putt and Laser Tag.
New Pool
Steve surprised Conner with a pool to pass the time between trips to PaPaw's pool and the lake.
Conner thinks it is the coolest because it has a pump and chlorine. Thanks daddy.
Evansville Rescue Mission
Conner asked his guests of his 6th Birthday to bring a donation for the Evansville Rescue Mission to benefit homeless men trying to get back on their feet. He delivered his donation a few weeks ago. It consisted of $130, lots of new socks, underwear, and
t-shirts, some clothes, and personal care products. So proud of this little man.

Camping
This weekend, we camped at New Harmonie with the Finch/ Mortis Family. We biked, hiked, swam, walked, cooked, and roasted marshmallows. We had a lot of fun and Conner and Luke are best of friends.
Disney
The day after school, we flew to Disney for 7 days. The temperature was HOT and the crowds were large. However, we covered so much ground, saw so much we missed last time, and had a great week. We found time almost every day to enjoy our resort pool at Art of Animation where Conner got so much more comfortable in the water. He would have been fine staying in that pool the whole week and skipping the parks, but we had already paid a pretty penny!!!!
We went to all the parks, some two or three times! Conner and Steve both rode their first roller coaster together and Conner loved it. Steve....... not so much! We got stuck in the Pirates of the Carribean Ride underground for 47 minutes along with about 200 other people. We probably won't forget that part anytime soon! We saw and did everything on our wish list and then some!
Conner was so much more brave this time than the last which made it very enjoyable. He tried things that he wouldn't last time!
We are happy to be home and look forward to going back in 2 more years.

Saturday Morning, May 23, we arrived at Evansville Airport at 5 am for our 6 am flight to Atlanta, then to Orlando. We arrived at our resort by the Disney Magical Express Coach at 12:30. Our room was ready, so we went to our room, dropped off our carry on bags and headed to Magic Kingdom for the day.
We had dinner reservations for 4 pm at the new "Be our Guest" Restaurant from Beauty and the Beast movie. This place was amazing. The atmosphere and food were above all else! We will go back.
We also went to It's a small world, Dumbo, Peter Pan, The Barnstormer, and Philharmagic. We were too tired from an early flight to stay for Fireworks.
Sunday- We had a character breakfast at The Animal Kingdom Tusker House. We spent the day at Animal Kingdom. We did the Kilimanjaro Safari, Festival of the Lion King play, Dinosaur ride, and shopped at Conner's favorite gift shop.
That evening, we had reservations in Downtown Disney at the T-Rex Restaurant. We went back to the resort and swam in the pool and we were all asleep by 8.
Monday- We spent the morning until lunch in the pool. Then we headed to Hollywood Studios. We did the Great movie ride, Honey I shrunk the kids, Voyage of the little mermaid, Star Tours ride, and we had dinner reservations at the Prime Time Cafe also known as Momma's House.
Here, it is baseed out of the 50's. The waitresses treat you like children and make you eat all your vegetables, and keep your elbows off the table or you may be put in the corner or not get any desserts. After dinner, we went to the famous Fantasmic laser, lights, and fireworks show on water. Always a crowd pleaser.
Tuesday- We had pool time in the morning til Lunch. Then, we went to Epcot for the day. We had lunch in the Untied Kingdom at the famous fish and chips stand and then in America at some restaurant. We ordered one meal at each place and all split it so we could try the different cultures food. We rode SOARIN. This is now mine and Conner's favorite ride. We went to Living on the Land, the seas of Nemo and Friends, The aquarium, Turtle Talk with Crush, Spaceship earth Twice, and we rode the Monorail. We had dinner reservations at the Coral Reef Restaurant, where you eat by the wall size aquarium.
Wednesday- This morning, we went to the character breakfast at Hollywood in Vine in Hollywood Studios. Afterwards, we went to Disney Jr Live on Stage, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Lights Camera Action. We had reservations at The Sci Fi Drive inn theater. We went back to the resort and swam.
Thursday- We went back to Animal Kingdom to finish some things there. We went in the Tree of life, saw it's tough to be a bug, and Nemo and Friends Musical.
We left here and headed to Magic Kingdom for the night. At Magic Kingdom we went up the Swiss Family Tree House, Aladdin, The Peole Mover, Monsters Inc Laugh floor, Toy Story, The Railroad Train, Barnstormer, Dumbo, Bought the famous Dole Whips, and the Liberty boat ride. We then rode the ferry to the Wilderness Lodge to have dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. On the boat ride back to Magic Kingdom, we watched the fireworks and the Electric Water parade.
Friday- Back to Magic Kingdom for the day before we flew home that night. We did Pirates of the Caribbean where we got stuck for 47 minutes, Tommorland speedway, Barnstormer, and the Jungle Cruise. WE went back to the resort and swam while we waited on our shuttle to the airport. We left Orlando at 7:20 and landed in Evansville by 9:49 pm. Sweet!
