Monday in NYC

On Monday morning, we had reservations for the Today Show. We arrived at 6:30 on the plaza. It was pretty uneventful but a fun experience. We met two ladies from the west side of Evansville. Such a small world!

After the today show, we walked around Rockefeller center, and then we went on our tour of NBC studios. It was really cool! We got to sit and stare at the Saturday Night Live Studios. It was really neat! No pictures aloud.

After Rockefeller Center, we went to the Top of the Rock observation deck!

We went on a bus tour called "THE TOUR" which was a floor and ceiling glassed in tour bus with stadium seating. They gave us a great tour of Manhattan and a great history.

We ate lunch at a great salad bar in the Rock Building and went back to the hotel for a 3 hour night nap! Then we went out again and toured the St. Patrick's Cathedral, went to the lego store, and ate dinner at a hot dog stand. We then went to The Empire State Building for a night time peak.

It was gorgeous.

Sunday NYC

On Sunday, we drove 7 hours to NYC from Niagra Falls. We arrived at our hotel, by Times Square, checked in and then walked to Times Square to find food. We ate at Planet Hollywood and didn't get to bed until midnight!! Up at 5 a.m. Monday for Today Show!

Niagra Falls

Our Vacation started on Friday June 17th, 2016. We left our house at 5 a.m. and drove to Niagra Falls, Canada. We checked into the Embassy Suites Fallsview that overlooks the horseshoe falls in Canada. The room was unbelievable with an amazing view of the falls. We slept with the windows open to hear the roar of the falls at night. We ate dinner in the revolving restaurant at the Skylon Tower. From here, we watched the fireworks over the falls and ate the best steak I've had in so long.

We then went up to the top of the skylon tower outside and watched the falls.

Saturday, we ate breakfast and then went up close to the falls. We did a lot of watching. It is so beautiful there. We then rode the bus to Clifton Hills which is very touristy and the boys went to Ripley's Believe it or not. We then went back to our hotel to catch our tour!

On our tour, we went on "The Journey Behind the Falls", The hornblower boat ride, and to the Whirlpool Rapids. After the tour, we went back to Clifton Hills and rode the Ferris Wheel, played paintball, and ate at the Rainforest Café. On Sunday, we went to the Dare Devil Museum and the Imax Theater. Then, it was time to leave Canada and head to NYC!!!!!
