Camping New Harmonie

We spent Labor Day camping at New Harmonie with Friends, The Richeys, The Mortises, and The Kirshs. This was Marley's first camping trip and her first time swimming in deep water. She had a blast and was so exhausted at the end of the weekend. The weather was beautiful!!

First Day of 2nd Grade

August 8th, 2016, the first day of 2nd grade. Summer flew by and it is back to school time. Conner is  starting 2nd grade with Mrs. Carrie Boehman. It will be his last year in the old school house. He was somewhat excited and somewhat nervous. I hope it is another great school year.

Holiday World with Luke

We spent a day at Holiday World with Luke and Laura. We had so much fun! These two always have a blast together. The funny part of the day was, while we were on raging rapids.... The power to that ride went out, the pump went off, and all the water drained from the River. We were luckily close to the conveyer belt. The employees had to help everyone off the ride. It was an experience.

Lake Day

We squeezed in one more lake day this summer before school. We even got Steve to come along.

Fun Weekend with Sophie and Abby

We kept Sophie and Abby for a weekend and we had lots of fun!

Holiday World with Summer Camp

This was the first year the Deaconess Summer camp has done a field trip to Holiday World. A lot of parents went along. We had a great day!

Bringing Marley Home

When we got home from the Race Sunday, we headed to Mt. Vernon to pick up Marley for the 1st time. She is 7 weeks old and about 9 pounds. We are all in love with her except the puppy biting phase. On the way home, Conner was holding her on his lap. He got real quiet. I said "Conner is something wrong?" He looked up with tears in his eyes and said "I Just love her so much!"

Conner's 1st Nascar Race

We went to Kentucky Speedway for Nascar Races.  We camped at on of their Race track campgrounds. Jeff Green got Steve, Conner, dad, and I hot passes for both days and nights.

This was an unforgettable experience for all of us. He also raced this weekend, so we got to watch him race.
