Conner's Baptism

On Sunday, July 19, Conner was Baptised at St. John's in Newburgh. Deacon Dave Rice lead the celebration. It was a beautiful ceremony. We chose Jamie and Ben Broeker as his Godparents. Conner was a very good little boy. He didn't cry at all until Deacon Dave poured the water over his head, which got in his eyes, ears, and mouth. This made Conner really mad. I don't blame him. The water used for his Baptism, was Rainwater from mine and Steve's wedding day. It rained the morning of our wedding, so Tim and Stephanie caught rain in Tupperware bowls and presented it to us the next day. We froze it, for the baptism of our children. It was very, very special to us to have the water from our wedding day to use for this special day. Thanks, Tim and Steph.
After mass, we had a celebration at our house. We had dinner, drinks, and lots of desserts. Everything was wonderful. We had unseasonably great weather. It was only about 75 degrees. It was just beautiful. We had a great time celebrating Conner with family and friends.
