Louisville Zoo

Saturday, we took advantage of the beautiful 70 degree weather and went on a day trip. We went to the Louisville Zoo. It was a great experience. We are used to the Mesker Park Zoo, so we were pleasantly surprised at how much the Louisville Zoo had to offer. We all had a great time. Conner was not very interested in the animals, but he loved the extra long stroller ride. He was such a good boy. On the way home, we stopped at Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. Then we took a carriage ride down by the river. It was so much fun.
Conner's 6 month birthday is Sunday the 8th, so we had to get a picture with his birthday hat.

They had 4 Giraffes. One being a baby. They could walk right up to the fence where people were standing. You could see them so well. They even had Giraffe feeding hour where you could pay to let them eat out of your hands. It was amazing to us to get so close to all of the animals at the Louisville Zoo. It was definitely a plus.

Conner stuck his bottom lip out and started to cry and hug his daddy. This was the first time we have ever seen him be scared of anything. He is developing more emotions.

Wagon Ride

When Conner and I got home from work/school tonight, Steve was waiting to surprise Conner. He had put his wagon together and was waiting to take Conner on his very first wagon ride. It was a great time had by all. There were a lot of smiles, laughs, and squeals coming from the wagon.

Enjoying Fall

Conner and I were off today and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We love to spend time outside. Today was no exception. We dusted off the leaves from his swing and gave it a work out. He loves his swing and the outdoors. He was mesmerized by the wind blowing leaves around and them falling from the trees. It definitely caught his attention. Then we loaded up the buggy (a.k.a. Conner's stroller) and went for a long walk. What a great day. Thanks to Steve for letting me work part-time. I enjoy my day off with Conner every week.

Staring at the falling Leaves.

First Halloween

Conner spent his first Halloween Trick or Treating at Lincoln State Park Campground. He was a Monkey. He got to dress up three times this Halloween. We got a lot of use out of his costume. He was a very adorable monkey. The cheeks fit the costume.
