Letter to Elf on the Shelf
The last couple of years, we had the Elf on the Shelf. Ours is named "Little Booger."
Yes, classy, I know. Anyways, Conner has asked about him all year. Well, evidently, my sister must have needed some good behavior reinforcements, because their elf has been at their house for a month and Conner has seen it there twice and wants to know why his elf hasn't came back. So, looks like we are inviting our Elf back ridiculously early this year, THANKS STEPH!!
So, last night in bed, I asked Conner, "Are you sure you want the elf to come back this year, I mean all he does is spy on you and if you are bad, he flies to Santa and tells on you."
Conner said "Yeah, I miss him, why didn't ours come back?"
So, I said "Maybe he doesn't know we moved, maybe we should send him a card with our new address on it."
So, when Conner got up this morning, he was on a mission. He said, "Mom, where do we keep our paper that we write letters on?"
I said "Oh, it's in the printer, are we going to practice writing your name before school?"
Conner said "NO."
And off he went. I heard him asking for an envelope and a stamp.
He came back with this letter. He read it to me. It says,
"We moved!"
Then he asked if I had Little Booger's address at the North Pole. I gave it to him and he addressed the envelope and he waited patiently for Steve to take him to the mailbox to mail it.

Combining Soybeans
Last year, Conner was interested in the combine that was picking the fields around my parents house. My parents had told that Farmer about it. So, this year, when that farmer was headed over to harvest my parents fields, he called their house and asked if Conner could come over. Well, Conner happened to be on his way to Rockport with my mom. So, Conner was excited but nervous. He would only ride if his buddy, Granddad went with him. They spent an hour in the combine picking soybeans and dumping them into the truck. Oh, this was a big deal to this little man. He got a baggie of soybeans and My parents developed the pictures. Conner couldn't wait to get to school the next day and tell all his friends about driving a combine and he took the pictures and the soybeans to show everyone. He got to speak in morning meeting at daycare about his experience.

Then, the entire daycare parade through the main floor of the hospital and all of the departments are waiting for them with candy. They then go to Independence Square and trick or treat Mr. Mac and his friends. Later, after nap is time for Cupcakes and treats! This is such an exciting day for the kids. New Blog
I Started a new blog devoted strictly to the funny things Conner says. I documented them all in his, The Adventures of Conner blog, but didn't want them to get lost amongst daycare parties and camping photos. So, the new blog, He Tickles My Funny Bone, is strictly some of his funniest comments that keep up in stitches around here. This way, I can print that blog into a book and share his comedy with him when he gets older. Enjoy!!
